Guy's can you help me identify what tyoe of tire carrier this is? Is it a Kayline? It looks like it mounts to the bumper, not the body. Anybody know the size limit on tires for something like this?

Looks like the 4 wheel drive hardware carrier I have sitting in my garage.

Not a Kayline AFAIK. ALl the Kaylines I've seen were made frome 1" square tubing, and were combination can racks - tire carriers.

The guy selling it says that it came off a late 70's CJ5 and it is a Kayline. Doesnt matter to me what it is really. The price is right. Do you thing a setup like this would hold a 33" tire if bolted into a beefy bumper?

I'm not even smart enough to know what a 33" tire is, but I made this many years ago and it hasn't given me a minutes trouble. It wasn't hard to make.

I have some wide rims and fat tires.
