Jeep Lean....Still?

Ok, been driving the jeep a little. I've noticed that it's got the "jeep lean" which I know old jeeps have, but I was expecting it not to after I put new springs on it. Is this unavoidable with a stock setup?

Originally, I had the originals rearched, but they flattened out. I recently bought a new set of 2" over superlift OE springs. I've got new shocks and bushings and grade 8 bolts.

 

When my CJ-5 was fairly new (from 2 years to 10 years old) I had that problem. Here is what I did, and it still is level today.

Huh, I guess you hit from the bottom since the body is on the frame.

I guess I should clarify. It doesn't lean all the time. If I sit in it, it sags on the driver side and then when I get out, it stays leaned over. I can pick up on the body and it levels out. If I get someone to ride with me, it doesn't do it at all. I'm not a small guy, but I'm no sumo wrestler. It's like the springs won't rebound

 

Your shackle bolts might be too tight

X2. It's just weird, I rebuild everything measured and took my time setting everything up. It leans. Oh well, I got used to it. You don't notice it when your off road.

 

Yes, the rivets were on the side of the frame. It was more trouble getting the backup hammer in there.

Ah, you don't have the same trouble I had. Mine leaned all the time.
