will a this lever fit?

Does anyone know if a brake pedal lever from a 69/70 Jeep will fit a 57 CJ5? I think I may have figured out my master cylinder dilemma ( http://www.earlycj5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=84754 ). The later model levers have a longer pin (for the MC pushrod), approx. 1 3/8 inches. The pin on my 57 is 3/4 inch (usable part). As mentioned in my previous thread, there is an offset that needs to be corrected with Herm's MC conversion (on my jeep). So the longer pin will work. Just need to know if the later model lever will fit.

 

Mine was originally completly out of round and I had a machine shop make a completly new pin and push it in to the old arm. There is a member on here that lives in Mississippi or Alabama that is a machinist; Is that you Nick? We talked a while back about doing mine after I had that machine shop do it. That may be a better route than trying to find a late pedal because who knows if it will have a wore out pin anyway. Plus if you get a new pushrod, the pin hole diameter can be matched to the eyelet on the pushrod.
