225 v6 distributor hold down bolt

    whats the tool to get at this , with ease. got thousands of tools but not this one. who out there has made one to work. 70's gm dist. tool was close but , to long @ 90 and no downward bend angle. thanks for any ideals forward.

    What year Dauntless? There were two. My '67 motor had the bolt low on the driver side. A regular box end wrench worked. My '70 motor has it high to the rear/ passenger side. I heated and bent a box end wrench to get to it.

    one engine is a 66, the other is a 70 - both dist. are forward location. what i'm looking for is tool you can use standing up and not bent over the fender in a hunchback posture. i hate turning a wrench in micro increments.

    I use a 3/8 drive socket, a swivel, and a few extensions.

    Its called a crows foot or dist wrench . Not exspensive and has 9/16 on one end 1/2 on the other . Z shaped more or less .
