There's your problem right there. Ditch the lift.

the jeep has a adapter installed to allow the x-case to run flat to provide clearance. i could lose that it may help i am not going to go too crazy with this jeep.

    Got better picts?

Form what you said it has a 6" soa lift. Is that total or and additional 6" after the SOA. Can't be. Got to be a total of 6". SOA with flat springs?

Ya a 6" spring...sprung over would put you around 12" of lift. If the drive line angle is real sharp, then you could always cut the springs pads off and rotate your axle up so to give you a better angle. Just an idea.

Or go back to spring under and get some 4" lift springs.............

That would solve a few problems.

    I run a spring over and a d44 rear.

Its doable with a good double cardan (CV) shaft if you understand how to set it up.

Here is some really good driveshaft info.

1.5" with the soa gives it about 6" . Spring have turned down eyes to lower the lift. About the double cardan . I have been looking into turning the dana 60 like you said but waiting to get my buddies plasma cutter. then i can do what '72cj5 said to do and point the axle better.
