cooling fan recomendations...

    I am in the process of rebuilding/updateing the cooling system on my 68cj5 225 v6 iam going to ditch the factory fan and run a pusher electric fan.....anyone have any recomendations on a good one to buy for best quality/most cfm? as well what would be a good cfm# to look at 2000+?...thanks in advance for any and all info!!

    It's been my experience that the factory fan is hard to beat. Unless you have a particular reason to eliminate it, I'd just keep it. My elec fan seems marginally effective at best. It's pulling, not pushing.

    That's what I did to my dauntless,worst thing I ever did ,stay with the stocker...

    Mine works great. I've only put about 8K miles on it since I installed it, so maybe I'll decide differently.

    I kept the stock fan but also installed a Flexalite as an auxiliary pusher.
