My son recently purchased a nice '79 CJ5 and is planning on putting a kit in the Carb. Any suggestion or links as to how to adjust it once the kit is installed.

This is my first post on the Forum so Thanks in Advance !:flag:

    Welcome!

Generic advice since we don't know the engine or carburetor is to turn the adjustment screw(s) in until they bottom out and then turn out 1.5 turns and adjust idle and mixture according to specs from there.

More accurately you can get a vacuum gauge at your friendly local auto parts store (FLAPS) and use that to tune your carburetor optimally. We've discussed that here in the past and there's some great pages on the web for doing this.

The vacuum gauge is my preferred method.
