I have a CJ3B with PTO/Winch installed. Could not get the middle exhaust pipe to fit (despite Mr. Walcks claim that it would clear the PTO). So I decided to go with the crossover design for an MB.
Does anyone have a picture of the installation of a crossover? I especially need locations and layout of the clamps and hangers. I'm sure I will puzzle it out but thought I would check here in the meantime.

The CJ3B Page gave me the idea to try the crossover installation. But the text and picture did not give me what I felt I needed for a clean installation.
After posting this query I found the Military manual with the illustration I needed: TM-10-1513 on Scribd.

The exhaust (available from Ron Fitzpatrick/G503) has arrived. I am in the process of installing now. The unit received is very well done.

The crossover itself bolts right in, albeit very tight. I did have to do a little bending on the exhaust bracket that attachs to the existing holes on the skid plate. The muffler is where I'm having a problem. I installed a passenger side step. While the muffler fits between the step braces, it leaves the exhaust pointing at and about an inch away from the rear tire because I cannot get the proper angle. Still contemplating that one. I will likely take it to a muffler shop and have an extension pipe made to the rear. Drilling is required for installation of the muffler section on a CJ3B in the stock location pictured on the CJ3B Page.

I'm wishing I could have installed the exhaust BEFORE I put the body back on.
