Intake on 225?

    Sorry it probably has been said but I am going to run a Holly 2-barrel 390cfm on my 225. I was wondering if the 231 intake from ??? (what year, please help) would work without an adapter??

    I maybe wrong so please help with either answers or a link to what will answer.
