    Hello everyone...

Been lurking for awhile but finally got an account.

Picked up this 68' back in August and am just getting into the brake disc brake conversion, a couple small odds and ends and it'll be on the road for early spring (if it ever comes).

Wanted to send a big thanks to anyone on here contributing to the great info I've found - I appreciate it. More to come. I also upped my car-whore status when I picked up a 55' CJ5 in November - that's next on the list!

Here's a quick before and where I'm at now pic. More to come soon.

You've got a good lookin' rig. Where did you get your seats (front and back)? Mine is missing the back seat. Also, where did you pick up the fender flares? That is a nice touch and would like to do the same. :v6:

Seats are original, covered with very old Bestop covers. They were nasty when I got the thing, but they're the waterproof ones, so I just cleaned them off with purple power and a hose and they look fine.

The flares are from a Jeep YJ (87-I think 94) wrangler. I cut the rocker and the rear fender right along the body line from the front part of the rocker all the way back. Then line the flare up, and you'll need to trim the fender a bit more, as the inside of the flare is round, unlike the outside shape. I then riveted them on.
