    OK, Guys!

Another question from the new guy. R) I know the front on mine is a Dana 30. It looks like the back is a spicer 23? Is this OEM? Are these solid axles or is there any history of problems? should i stick with the dana 30 front and look for a dana 44 for the rear? or should i look to replace both with dana 44's? :?

The rear diff. is likely a Dana 30, They where kinda weak so they supposedly put Powr-loc units in them for additional strength so if you upgrade you might want to check yours and if it has one remove it and use it in the front or good trading material.

If it's stock it will be a 30. You got a 30 in the front? Somebody convert to Saginaw too?

Stock was a closed knuckle 27. The open knuckle 30 wasn't used until 72.

Plus, I think someone misunderstood your original post. Your stock rear should be a dana 44. Where did you see spicer 23?

For 1967 it should be a Dana 30, not a Dana 44 IIRC.

44's didn't come around until 69'ish. First 44 were splined axle then they went with flanged.

I didn't realize they ever put dana 30's in the rear of anything. OP, sorry for the misinformation.

Nope, not that you'd want to pay shipping from Canada anyway, need one of them for when I build a Commando one day out of the 2.
