any thoughts on omix dist

    anybody have experience with the electronic distributor offered on line to replace the stock points dist? i gave a 67 w/l-134. seems like a good deal. please chime in before i make a mistake. thanks

    here is my opinion
    i have two ef these nether work so i run points, one had the pick up sensor fry on the go, that was a pain. if your distributer is mechanically sound i would run a point replacement such as pertronix and keep the points on hand.

    I know some folks who have them and like them, but most also carry an extra module in the toolbox just in case. Regardless of which system you go with, it's always smart to carry a spare because if the unit goes south you're not going to be going anywhere.
