Front hub question

    What am I looking at here? I know something is missing, but I'm not sure. Are these locking hubs with just the cap missing?

    edit: guess I should have cleaned them up a bit. They look really nasty blown up this big!

    It doesn't look broken. It looks like it is meant to be that way. So I am guessing a drive flange was installed in place of the locking mechanism. The piece it's bolted to looks to be correct.

    You're missing the dust cover, that's all. It's a 2" diam stamped steel cup that presses on the shoulder outside of the snap ring. You are looking at the factory drive flange. The flange and snap ring come off when you mount locking hubs (eg Warn hubs).

    Excellent! Thanks!

    Is installing the locking hubs (ie Warn hubs) as simple as removing the drive flange and lock ring or is there more too it than that? No need to go into detail, I can look it up. Just curious.....

    Remove snap ring, unbolt flange & remove, install hubs. The hubs will come with instructions.
