I've seen a lot of header companies, but i'm narrowing the playing field. i'm not interested in bare-bones 'primered' headers, which are just going to rust and corrode.
I can't physically do wide headers, like fender-exit. You know, hooker headers and the like. So it has to be narrow, block-hugger style headers.

can you think of a good ceramic header, for a 225 v6? I've heard the name RUK industries, for one, but i can't find anything for a 225 on their website. if i can't find exactly what i'd like, i suppose i'd be open to whatever I can find, even used (at least, to use temporarily)

I helped Eric at Novak redesign the Block Hugger Headers they have. They are made by Sanderson and come in plain and ceramic coated.

THIS is a link to them.

Nice Warloch, I too can vouch for the guys at Novak. Top notch guys and top notch products. I just installed their new Dana 18 aluminum oil pan. No more leaks!

I would like to some pictures if anyone has them of the Novak headers installed. What needs to be done to the steering for a power steering set up to clear the headers. I am currently planning on installing the the flat manifolds off of a 231 on the drivers side, and with the flat manifold, still might have to make so adjustments with the steering.

    Thanks,

    Chris

I have pics of the ones we used for fitment HERE... I need to remind folks that we based measurements on a stock height install. My pics are on a rig with a 2" body lift and I will be changing the position of the column to allow them to fit.

IT IS FINE WITH THE COLUMN IN A STOCK LOCATION... I do however, recommend having them before you modify your steering. I will be changing from the AA outside the fenderwell to these sometime in the spring (when I get time).

The headers allow for the shaft to go right by them to a Saginaw Box and does not cause problems with a power setup (what I have on the jeep shown).

Sooo, you're saying w/o the body lift your steering shaft would drop ~2" and go past the headers? From the POV on the passenger side its hard to tell if it can clear the front driveshaft. Hows the fitment on that side? If these will work I see a pair of them in my future.:v6:

Yes - without the body lift the shaft would clear, and they do on Eric's rig. I do not recall an issue with the P side Drive shaft for either of us. I have another build going that I could pop the headers on and see if I can get a clear shot for you (don't have shafts on it yet, but can mock something up). It is a 5 frame with a 3A body being put on it.

Thats OK Chuck. I think it was the picture angle. Ater looking it over in the jeep, I don't think its an issue. Got some OT coming. Now I got something to spend it on.:v6:
