Well the trip went well yesterday. Got up early met up with a buddy of mine and headed from Cleveland to Ludington MI, and pick up a slew of parts:

'67 CJ5 rolling chassis, do drive line, body tub and a Kelly full metal top with doors, set up SOA and the retro GM Blazer rear tail light conversion, gawd awful and ugly, but that's the cool part.
'68 CJ5 rolling chassis wtih driveline with V6 engine, D18 single stick
    '68 bare frame
    3 fuel tanks
    4 grilles
    3 carburetors
1 T90 tranny with a D18 t-case dual stick and a Ramsey front and rear PTO
1 early (L-head???) 4 cylinder in bits and pieces.
And then about 8 boxes of misc stuff
    2 hoods
2 early fiber glass fenders, the actual nice older flexible ones.

Had two trailers loaded up, the back of a 8 foot bed truck, and the innards of my Durango.

All in all I'll make one complete, and then need to pick up some stuff to complete a second, and still have parts leftover / spares

    Nice haul!

Ya know, I'm a GM guy through and through, but I've never liked the way those tail lights looked on a CJ...Just my opinion..;)

Yeah, I'm also thinking about adding some aftermarket / trailer lights, to match the rear small windows on the Kelly top. Also thinking about cutting out the rear section to add in a tail gate.

Does anyone out there have any idea for replacing the window rubber / gaskets on the hard top?
Any kind of universal gasket anyone use to re-do them?
And glass replacement, I'm thinking of lexan for the hard top glass. Any thoughts?

Thanks, it was good to meet you also. Would have liked to have talked more shop, but that was a pretty good bit of driving yesterday. I'll be sifting thu the boxes and getting everything stowed away.
