Does anybody have any pics of a 1972-75 CJ windshield washer reservoir? I want to see if it looks like a 76-86 and where exactly it was mounted by the factory.

I thought that is where it should have been, but my fender doesn't have any holes for it. I hesitate to drill holes in my precious girl :( Thanks for the pic though.

I bought a cheapo universal washer fluid/coolant overflow tank from local FLAPS for something like $8 and also a remote mounted washer fluid pump for maybe $10, mounted on engine side of firewall under the steering column and master cylinder. I can't believe what 4WD and Quadrawhatever charge for their kits. I think it was over $40! Crazy.

My 72 (manufacture date Oct 71) had a plastic-vinyl bag that hung on the fender and a hand plunger pump. I think it was stock as it was printed with the jeep logo. Unfortunately it was toally degraded and leaked like a seive so I tossed it and replaced with a newer AMC reservoir and pump.

Interesting my 72 has the reservior mounteded on the passenger fender toward the front. Doesn't mean its stock just means that is where it was when I got it.
