bead blasted the wheels on my '61 cj5 and am getting ready to paint them.....only question: do you paint the inside of the wheel as well? Same paint as the outside?
I read a bunch of threads about painting and powder coating wheels, I plan on just painting with POR15.
    thanks

I assume your talking about inside of where the tire will be mounted and not inside where the brake calipers are. Either way yes. On the inside where the tire is there is a lot of condensation from heat and cold and they will rust.

Originally the wheels were completely painted - front, back inside. Some have found that the wheels were primed front, back and inside with either gray or black then the outside face was factory painted another color (mine were an off white).
Protect it all from rust as best you can. Remember the POR15 doesnt like the sun so you have to top coat whatever is is going to stay in the open with enamel or other paint.

Have you considered using implement paint? I used Ferguson gray on my old CJ5 wheels and they held up great, I used an epoxy sealer/primer then the grey. They even held up to hub caps without scratching. I also painted the entire wheel, inside and out. Just make sure the beads are in good shape.
