UPDATE: I didn't have my camera with me the weekend I was going to take the pics. I was busy trying to get my 2100 to not have huge vacuum leaks!

I'll be headed home again in 2 weeks, and will take pics then.

    Thanks Mugzilla.

    CJ5stayingalive thanks for the tip.

I just have to show you the configuration of my pedals. Remember this is how I bought it. What do you think? Creative!

I also would be interested in the pictures of the seat backets if you don't mind.

Back to my project. I now have custom bent seat brackets. I have also picked up a 1974 donor CJ-5 for $300 complete. Since the P.O. had mixed up so many things I find it easier to work back to the correct year with parts like the carb for example with the correct tags.

If I had to do it again I would have bought a complete untouched CJ and did my own work.

Holy thread resurrections! Maverick, I don't remember if I ever got photos of my seat brackets for you or not. If I didn't, I apologize.

How do you eat an elephant? One bite at a time. Rebuilding my CJ-5 was easier than most, since I had a big garage, and could spead it out as I disassembled her. It was HARDER than most since I could've had a few more tools (Bead blast cabinet, for example...)

You did in fact get me those pictures which I used to come up with my brackets. Thanks. I started this thread back up where I left off now that I'm working on the cj5 again.
