Hi folks. I'm hoping someone will be able to give me a ballpark value of this 63 tuxedo park jeep. It runs and drives. Appears to be mostly original. Needs tires, brakes and exhaust.

I appreciate any help you might be able to give me in putting a low to high value on this. I'm thinking about buying it. :flag:

It's worth the advertised price if it's the one on C/List. I'd offer 1k, see where you end up.

Looks exactly like one owned by someone I knew up in Maine. I have the rear wheelwell seat pads if interested.

NOtice the windshield is not black but body color. Is this somehting to do with it being a tux? I thought in 63 all windshields were black.

That is interesting. I wonder. I'll have to look when I get home, I have pictures of an all-original Mark III.

It could be original, after all the grilles were white not body color so maybe the WS frame was painted?

HMM. I thought all W/S frames were black from the factory. The MK IV's were..

Yeah, but the Mark IV's had a body color grille as well, so I'm not sure that it's an indicator. Like I said, I'll have a look-see when I get home tonight... :)

Here a pic of my 63 tux. It's not in nearly as good of shape but the windshield is painted to match the body.
