Who make a quality top for the CJ-6, I am looking at a couple of them right now and one doesn't have a top.

Also I've noticed some have the hoops set holders on the inside of the truck bed and others have the hoops set holders on the inside, why is that?

I'm pretty sure Supertop is the only co that makes a top for the early's any more and only in black.

Bestop Tigertop is your only option AFAIK.

The quality is fine, heavy snaps, etc.
The design is not ideal in my opinion, as the rear and side windows are not fully removable, the sides are attached to the top at the rear, so for open sides, they are rolled to the back, for storage. The rear window is rolled up. I would prefer to be able to remove them completely for the summer, keeping them from being damaged. In this way they could also be replaceable. But keep in mind it's the best design on the market today (the only one).

Mike it's your setup I like which has pushed me towards getting one of these. I found a restored one in NY for 10500 that looks very clean, I also found on in FL that looks good too, but it's just as far.

I was going to do a custom job but opted out for the tiger top also, I would really like one that rolls up horizontally on the sides, but the price is so different going custom I just decided to go Bestop

Yea I wonder if I've driven the 6 prices up with higher visibility..;)

Overall IMHO if you find one you like for the right price paying to have it shipped wasn't horrible. I bought SSDutch out of TX and had it shipped to MI for ~$800. You'd spend that on bodywork or a paintjob without trying..;)
