258/232 to 4.0 oil filter housing

Does anyone know if the oil filter housings swap between the 4.0 and 258/ 232 engines. Reason is my 258 in my jeep came out of a yj and it has oddball metric threads. I recently got 600 mobil 1 performance filters and I would like to use them on my jeep and get rid of the metric threads since it is harder to find a decent filter for them.

I was going to switch the center stud between the too when I did my swap, but read that the 4.0 doesn't have the same anti drain as the 4.2, but rather it's built into the filter...there was something else too.......For a few reasons, I stayed with the 4.0 filter.
