CJ3A - Body Armor Pieces

    Where can I find the body armor, rear corners, cross piece that runs under the tailgate, and side plates for a CJ3A? I can find corners, but that is all. Any help will be appreciated. I am considering just buying the diamond plate, making some templates and making them myself.

    I haven't been able to find any armor, other than sheet metal rear corners, for flatties either. My suggestion would be, especially if you have or have access to a welder, to design and fabricate pieces (rocker guards, skid plates, bumpers, etc.) out of steel stock that you like and that suit your needs. Diamond plate will work, but only offers marginal protection from trail damage. YMMV.

    Kaiser Willys has the corners and pieces that go underneath the door. Thats all they have.

    plus it's not a good idea IMO it traps moisture accelerating rusting
