I found a full width D27 w/4:88 gears out of a truck. Are they the same as mine ECJ5 (71') gears? Mainly just want the gears out of it.
    Thanks

As long as it is a d27 , I have one supose to have been out of 1971 it is a d30 though.

fullwidth and narrow trac still uses the same gears, carrier, bearings, outeraxle stub and knuckles.

Excellent and thanks. That is what I thought but I wanted to make sure. Found one with a set of 4:88's. Thinking about picking it up for a spare set of gears.

Yes you did. showmeguy needed a set so I sold them to him for what I paid you. Only running 33's and knock on wood haven't broken any yet.

People on here have been great to me so I wanted to return the favor. He was having trouble finding 4:88's at a reasonable price. Hard to part with since it seems 4:88's are getting harder to find but I wanted to help him out.
