hydraulic pump

    Is this and original jeep hydraulic pump? My dad does not think so.

    think they made two, that one looks like the one used for the snow plow, the other is much smaller, and couples directly to the crankshaft, with the resivor and controls between the seats, often used for the monroe lift

    I've seen many of those used for snow plow lifts. Not factory, but a popular add-on back in the day.

    As said, that is not a factory pump, but is a very common add on for a snow plow. I had one on a 48 pick up for many years. That is so much nicer and smoother than the early Meyers / electric / hydraulic. Clamps on top of the generator.
