No spark with engine hot.

Today, took the 5 for a drive around. Got home, backed-up on the driveway, suddenly the engine dies. First I thought, I'dd ran out of fuel (fuel meter wont work), after some toolin'around, found out the following.

No parks at the plugs, distributor cap looks normal, spark at distributor cable. It was quit hot underneath the hood, drove approximatly 20 kilometers, outside temperature 25 dgr Celcius.

Later on the day, figuring out what's the problem, tried to crank it again, engine cold, standing in the shade, it's just works normal........ :?

Condensator or coil???

 

Coil!

 

Repaced it, runs fine.
