Hello all. New to the forum so bear with me. I've recently acquired a CJ3B that I've installed a 225 V6 into. Many issues have arose, along with many more to come, but the question I have now is about the alignment of the clutch cable from the release lever to the bellcrank (cross-shaft). The tab nearsest the tranny should be closer to the center of the shaft to get a straight pull. Did they make a bellcrank for the V6 applications that are different from the F-head? I seen the heim joint rod conversion on this site (great idea), but that doesn't help with the cable mis-alignment. Any help / advice would be apppreciated. I was going to attach pics for more detail, but not allowed to just yet.
    Thanks

If you have a place to host them (photobucket or such), you can link to your pics.

Used to move the ear on the cross shaft to get it to line up in a conversion. Been going with the AA Chain and now Hydro most recently.

I made a new ear and welded it to the cross shaft where I needed it.

Thanks for the replies. Kinda thought I'd have to mod the tab on the shaft. Anyones thoughts on the AA conversion? Is it worth it?

There are 6 differrent "lever and tube" assemblies that are used for CJ-5 clutch control.
The one you need is specific to CJ-5 with V-6. It is W/O part # 941232.

I have a couple NOS. They are not for sale but perhaps I can supply the measurements if I find the time.
I can generally be reached easier on the CJ3B Page B.B.
You know how it goes ...."so many Jeep forums so little time".
