Tires for 4.5 x16 Rims

    I would like to find a set of tires with the mud tread that are close in size to the original tires for the 4.5 x 16 rims. The closest size I have found is 215/85R16, but they are recommended for rims 5.5" wide. Has anyone used this size on the 4.5" wide rims? Is there a better size to use?

    I have used 225/75/R16 on original rims with no problems.

    I have 215/85/16's mounted on mine, no problems at all.
