My buddy also has the dreaded stalling issue's.

And we dont know if we should go after market injection or. avenger carb.

Which would you pick and why.

    A little more detail.
He has a 2 bll. holly now. on a built 304.

He can get a Holly truck avenger from a friend for well he'll give it too him.
then he just needs a intake.

Or buy a Holly projection setup.
How well do they really work?

I voted Avenger b/c it sounds cheaper and easier. You could get a manifold or just find an adapter. The Avengers are supposed to be good offroad, just rebuild and go.

Injection is always a plus, but a bit spendy from what I understand. Unless there are some serious requirements or lots of cash on hand I'd try out the carb first.

My vote and opinion are solely monetary based since both would work fine I'm sure.

the truck avenger should work fine.

I've heard the projection works great but can be a bear to tune in. Fuel injection is nice.

THe holley can be tuned in for better off road performance with a float adjustment, and possibly a pressure regulator.

Another option is finding a MC2100 with the larger 1.14" or 1.27" to feed the hopped up motor. (factory 304 2100 was 1.08" IIRC)

Build your own Fuel Injection using a GM throttle body. http://www.msefi.com

I built the first one with all the sensors, TB and adapters for about $500.
