Okay I bought a used PS pump and bracket for my 225 so I could lower the aftermarket bracket and pump lower to do my Power Brake conversion...

Well:) the used pump is taking a dump on me, and I turned around and sold the old saiginaw pump that was on it to a freind.

Now I got a buddy that offered to sell me http://store.summitracing.com/partd...=SUM-340104&N=700+4294908256+115&autoview=sku that he bought for a project last year for $50 never been installed.

I would assume this would fit in the stock OEM PS bracket for the 225? or would this not work? I havent had a chance to look in person at the pumps or the way they mount he is coming in town this weekend and said he'd bring it If I wanted it.

SUmmit lists it fitting 61-64 SKylark, which I am pretty sure is the only Buick that was ever eqquiped with the oddfire 225 as an option.

    Thanks

    Dave

I don't have an answer to your question, but if it were me I'd take it off him for $50 all day long. I got my used pump and brackets off a mid 70's Skylark with the 350 V8 at a pull your part junk yard for $25 and hoped the pump was good. The reservoir I got looks like it has the same return port turned in the same direction as the one in the Summit photo. The only difference that stands out would be the stud that protrudes from the rear.

Well that pump looks just like the summit Saignaw line pump so I'd say it should work.

WOrse case for $50 I guess I can ebay it or adapt it some way.
