Just got done looking at the Moeller fuel tank site-the 23 gallon tank looks like it could fit.Maybe not legal but wondered what any thought on that might be?

Why? I mean- is it a cheap way to retank your rig? Why not go for stock, and not worry about fit/legality etc?

i have a boat tank in my a1, gonna get the right one later, it was a cheep and easy fix to not having a tank at all, and it is only driven off road now, i picked up mine @wal mart, works pretty well if you have a bunch of junk like i do  one tank fits all:D

Looked like a nice possible permant fix with 8 gallon of gas more to boot.8x16=128 more miles down the road over the present tank.Just musing-so far.
