Thinking about a top for the CJ2A. What are all the options now? Is it just down to the Besttop Tigertop?

How is the fit? I was hoping for another cheaper option I guess as well, hard to justify a $650-700 top on my POS R) Not to mention it would blow the budget I have allotted for my YJ to finish.

I had a bestop on my old cj3a. Worked well, fit well. If you dont want a full top you could buy a repop mb/gpw top and bows, might save you a little money.

Wow. Those tops look awesome, I especially like the door options. Are there any companies importing them to the US or making something similar? I don't really like to order my products overseas...

My spanish is terrible (that was spanish, right? portugeese?) but I got the gist of it well enough to look at everything. Very cool.

Nice tops, they are different. But if you look them with attention, these tops aren't well made; I believe that bestop or kayline have better quality in materials and adapt better.
This site is from Brasil, they speak portuguese. This idiom is a bit different than the language we speak in Spain (one curiosity, people from Spain don't speak spanish, we speak Castellano).

Anyhow if you want contact with them send me a PM. Or if there's several interested on it I can send a mail looking for information about price and shipping to the States

    Thanks for the info

I am sure Besttop and Kayline would be better quality but I think Kayline went under, and well the Besttop while I know is great quality usually, is a bit out of price range for a jeep that is 90% garaged and used only on weekends mostly. If it were a better example of a flatty I might be more interested in spending that much on a top, but as it sits I barely have 2k into building the jeep and it is ugly, I can't justify spending half of what I built it for on a top that might get used 3-4x per year. I'd rather spend that on trying to actually make the body straight again R)

If they are complete garbage that would be another story, but I can sew, and I have a laid off mother that can REALLY sew that I could pay to upgrade the stitching (she has a machine capable of it)

I guess I am going to keep an eye open for a old used top for now, then get a new one if I ever make the appearance worth a new top. I almost have the function there...
