QD Shovel

    I couldn't find a real shovel short enough to fit between the rear fenders, or any other solution to having one fitting anywhere so I just ground off the rivets, drilled out to 5/16" and stuck 2 1/4" D clips in place. Worked goood. Maybe this idea will help someone else :beer:

    Does your M38A1 have the shovel rack under the hood? Nice place to keep a shovel. Was only on Mil spec hoods.

    I have the hood but not all the hardware and haven't found any pix detailed enough to get thru my thick skull how to make them. I believe the orig shovels were of a specific length and I think the head angle was specific too (?)
