Where did you get the steps / slider? Are they after market or did you make them yourself?
I made the step sliders out of 1/4" plate and some tubing that was laying around that had the bends in them allready

    What seats are those?
I order them from John at Krage MotorSports Rugged Ridge Seat, Hi-Back Black Vinyl Part#: 13401.01

    Joe,
That is simply outstanding! I am also working on a '69 V6 CJ5 that is still apart, I hope it turns out looking close to as nice as yours. I have been following your post and am amazed how fast you put this one together.
Where did you get the radio antennae? I like the way that one fits without interferring with windshield fold down.
I'm waiting for warmer weather before puting on the color coat of paint on mine, it's too cold now for painting to turn out good.
    Have fun with your Jeep!

    Don

Thanks Don here is where I order the antenna for it. It fit in the stock hole that was in the side panel I only had to drill the three small bolt holes for the mount.

Wonderful balance. Looks pretty close to perfect. I'm on the final lap of finishing my 67 and these photos are downright sensual! Sorry. Wrecked in 2001, I thought seven years was badl, 15 must have been hell.

But, what's with the windshield? Lower wiper frames usually had a curved glass top edge, is it a conversion to move the wipers from top to bottom?

    Curious and Canadian. Good mix.

In the year 1969 Kaiser changed the windshield they moved the wipers from the top to the bottom but had not curved the top of the glass yet. When this Jeep came off the line it was close to the end of Canadian production in 1969. That is when Kaiser sold out to AMC and moved back from Canadian to the plant at Teoledo in the USA. The Vin Numbers are hard to trace during this move. I think that AMC added the curve to the upper part of the windshield in early 1970.
