    Hi all

Some progress on the XJ. I made a ACAD drawing of some rock sliders I wanted, I had them built and tonight was the install. Now they are removed for the painting, but with the help of vice grip and hammer I was able to make the pinch seam cooperate.

And the jack that helped me put it there

Bob, I'll be interested in how the rectangular rock sliders hold up, they look stout!

Nice rock sliders. But be careful. I had some similar to those on my MJ and had to take them off because they would get caught on all the rocks out in the california desert.:)

Very nice! I have to make a set for my Yota. We just have too much rocker panel to get dented up :)

I tried to jack the Cherokee, there is a slight deflection in the 2x2, however I don't really mind. it will protect the body in an impact.
