Ok, here's the scoop. I cleaned the frame up semi rebuilt the t14 and d18, painted everything and set it all back in the frame. I filled them with oil only to find the t-case is leaking. The leak is coming from the front yoke, not from around the seal but from around the yoke nut. I don't think I forgot anything when I replaced the seal. Is there some kind of seal that goes under the washer to keep the oil from leaking out? And by the way, it's not just a small drip type leak, but enough to put about a foot and a half circle of oil on the floor. I am open to any suggestions. Thank for any and all help.

    Cheers

I've had good luck with a "O" ring put on the shaft before you install the yoke. Or you can put sealent on the splines before installing.

As I understand it (I didn't know it either when I re-sealed my rear output shaft), you need to apply some sealer to the splines of the output where the washer/nut go.

Thanks guys, I didn't think of anything like that, obviously. Now to get it clean enough for the sealant to stick to the shaft splines.

Yep, join the club ;) The way I look at it is that a washer/nut should jam the sealant so positive sticking in a non-pressure situation "should" work.
