Do my eyes decieve me, or is it a 6 with a half top?

    Hmmmmm
    Might have to go looky at this one for parts. It has a 4th shifter.
    My question is- Are all overdrive shifters located between the trans and transfer case shifter, I think this heap has a PTO. But I was wondering if it could have a OD

    Yep that's a halfcab 6 alright.

    Could have both OD and PTO. OD shifters are generally longer and between the transmission and tcase sticks.

    It has at least a PTO, I'm kinda hoping that it is one of those diamonds in the rough, but I'm thinking it's more of a diamond in a pile of poo poo. Any way it will be a fun afternoon trip to check it out.

    He set me a pic of the shifters, so now I'm pretty sure it's a PTO and not an OD.

    Awwww it's in Carrollton, he wants $300 for it but I'm thinking that might be a shade steep. 1 hr west of Atlanta. It's on craigslist for 600. Wish I needed another pile of rust.

    Yep But when you add in the $100 in gas to retreive it and haul it to the scrap yard. Now if it would have had an OD I'd would have been on it like a "duck on a june bug" or [insert your favorite phrase here].

    Somebody go and get that Jeep ... it should be easy to make back your time and effort if you can't fix it up.
