new toy comming together

    Well i have not posted on here in a long time..
    since that time i sold off my 71 cj5 moved and have been building a new toy ..
    its titled as a 68 but its a hodge podge of jeeps..
    76 frame, trany and t-case.. late 60's dauntless v6,
    80 cj7 axles, glass tub fenders and windshield frame, steel hood and grill ..
    a work in progress..

    What size tires? they look good. Now I'd get all the white muddy........

    tire's are 32" BFG Mudterains..

    will try to get some more photo's ..
    the bench seat is just plywood with padding wrapped with vinyl..
    vary simple ... but im replacing it with buckets..

    lots of sanding yet to come then filler to smooth it out..

    got HEI installed.. and just about finished rear ..installed flush taillights and fuel filler..

    just about finished for now..i started driving it to work finally..
    i changed the window hinges to the newer style from a 80
    put some turbo mufflers.. it's coming along nicely..

    yes i decided to put buckets in instead of the bench..

    yes..that is a Honda steering column .. plan to build a aluminum dash and prob put stock jeep column in..

    not original but i like to be different..

    finished the notched wheel wells ..what a difference.. plenty of leg room now..
    and tires dint even begin to come close to the new wheel wells
