I have a aluminum intake manifold from a later year engine that I would like to swap for the old cast iron manifold. I'm thinking of tossing the headers and putting a factory exhaust manifold on as well.

Not sure what exhaust to get. I do not know what year the intake is from but it has the following Stamped on it: ef3237858m

    any suggestions?

Picture? I presume this is for a 232/258.

3237858 could be a Jeep/AMC number, but I don't have any way to look it up.

AFAIK the aluminum 2V manifolds for a 258 are all pretty much the same. They have a large, round electric preheater under the carb flange. All use the Carter BBD, with a small (compared to Holley/Ford) 4-bolt flange.

Another possibility is a 4.0L intake for a Renix system (pre 4.0L HO) - that mainfold isn't very useful.

Pretty sure it is of 80ish cj7. If they are all the same then this ( http://www.autopartswarehouse.com/d...entQQExhaust_ManifoldQQ19811986QQJ960706.html ) should work. right?

    thanks

Yep, I think so. I'm using a pair of manifolds from a '85 CJ-5 on my pickup, and the intake looks exactly like the one you have. It expects power steering on the left, if that matters. I had to notch the PS bracket on my '77 J-10 to make the '85 manifolds fit; otherwise it was a bolt-on. The exhaust outlet is even in the same place (all the pre-81 exhaust manifolds are the same except for AIR ports AFAIK).
