    from the FSM:
    "position the new cylinder head gasket with the crimped edges of the gasket metal down."

    the side shown in the top picture would go down towards the block in my opinion.

    Just because i have the same question.
    Which side goes up the right or the left?When the manual says crimped edges means the left picture?
