Brake light switch

    Mine tested open circuit with the pedal depressed so I ordered a new one. Will I need to bleed the system after install?

    oh, a little more work than i'd hoped for. The brakes work so good now, i was hoping i wouldn't need to, oh well, just a little more work!

    I've done this and it can work. It all depends on luck, and communication between two people.

    You need one guy to SLOWLY push on the brake pedal, as you QUICKLY remove and reinstall the switch.

    Your job is to get the old switch out, and the new one in before the inside guy runs out of pedal. The inside guys job is to realize that he only has to keep pushing SLOWLY and not to stop until he has reached the end of pedal travel, or you tell him to.

    Kind of a Bubba method, but I've had it work almost every time. If it doesn't work out, yu were bleeding anyway.

    As in life, its all in the timing.
