I've read all the threads and looked at the diagrams but I still can't figure out how the wires for my horn are supposed to go. I have the long wire attached to the new horn button contact I got with the horn button kit and have the brush holder on the column with it's wire running into the Sparton turn signal harness. Where do I run or connect the horn button contact wire to?

I believe it connects to the brush holder.
The wire coming from the button is a ground wire.
maybe someone with an intermediate can confirm this.

The horn button wire should go to the slip ring that contacts the brush. The brush connection goes to the horn. When the button is pressed It connects the horn to ground and you get honk!
