i bought my '69 cj-6 about 6 years ago and almost immediately started a complete restoration. i ran out of money and i'm just getting back into it. i would say that i'm about 75% done with the project. my question is about the steering. the jeep will only turn about half as sharp to the left as it does to the right. after some investigation, i found that the back end of the drag link is hitting the front of the transmission bell housing when i turn left. has anyone else run into this problem? any suggestions? i think that the drag link may be the original, but i suppose someone could have replaced it with one that is too long at some point in the past. any help is greatly appreciated.

hard to give you an easy solution. pics and drivetrain info would greatly help. i'm going out on a limb here but, have you or the previous owner done any motor/tranny swaps? any modification to make stuff fit can make other stuff not fit:rofl:
