    I have adwell meter but don't know how to hook it up to my f-head. I've just assumed that if my gap was .020" then the dwell would be right. How do I hook up the dwell meter? Thanks.

    Hook the black and red leads to the battery and the green (usually) clip goes to the coil lead that is hooked to the distributor.
