I have come across a tub made in South Florida some years ago and the company went out of business. A shop in Georgia bought the factory out and sold them on ebay for a while. It looks like it won't line up exactly but seems sturdy enough. Has anyone used one of these successfully? I can save alot of $$$$ compared to Quadratec. Thanks

I used to have a 79 CJ5 with a glass tub. I think it may have been a Florida one, but I'm not sure. Anyhow, the tub fit just fine on it.

Remember sometimes you get what you pay for. IMO you should use a good quality tub unless you looking to build a "basher". Good quality ultimately means more dollars though.

I have a Fiberglass tub.....it did NOT line up but only because I have the '55-'71 CJ-5 tub. The only place it did not line up was on the front body mounts, but that was only because I have an '83 frame. Brackets were made and it fit fine!

    Hope this helps.
