I am thinking of putting a 4" suspension lift and 33" tires on my cj
other than springs and shocks what else am I going to need to replace or modify?

Your front tie rods (if stock) are going to get to their max travel at static. Look into a single piece tie rod or Saginaw conversion.

Brake hoses on the front knuckles and rear diff might need extended, too.

you will need longer brake hoses on the rear, and might have to relocate it (mount lower on crossmember). the front might or might not need a longer hose.

but that's based on my 3.5" lift.

Many of us successfully ran or currently run 33s (and even 34x9.50s) with a 2.5" lift and a bit of body and/or shackle lift. With the right combination, a 2.5" lift will give you all the clearance you need for 33s/34s and plenty of articulation while keeping a lower CG and avoiding many issues that come with a full 4" suspension lift...

    Possible rear driveshaft issues.
