Look behind the passenger seat on the wheel wheel. Let me know if you have a plated attached to the wheel well.

 

If you have the jeep script then it most likley is an orginal m38 tub

 

There is a plate but it's not readable.I could clean the paint off if it wont mess it up.

 

If you got the plate behind the pass. seat I would say from everything else disscussed it's an M38 tub. How about the frame? does it have the Large footman loop looking tiedowns for military transport?

 

No I didnt see any footman loops in another thread I started (that I probably shouldnt have) someone said M38 body on a CJ2A frame.Thanks for the replies so far.

 

from other pic it looks like a cj2a frame. The plate behind the pass. seat will have the orginal m38 serial number.
