Ok, I tried a search to no avail. Am I going to have to remove the steering box from the frame in order to remove the pitman arm? I know it's tight in there. I hoping a small puller will work. Haven't got one yet. Thanks.

I'm assuming you have a stock Ross box. About the only thing you'll be able to use unless the engine is pulled is a pickle fork. Mine came apart w/ a couple of taps of the hammer.:v6:

:iagree: Be careful with the pickle fork, If it does not come apart willingly with a couple of light to medium taps it would be best to remove the box ( wiggle the pickle fork like a pry bar first ), When driving a wedge between the Steering Gear Arm and the Steering Box all the impact force/pressure is absorbed by the two Sector Shaft Pins and a very small engagement area on the Worm.

Thanks guys. I'll give the fork a try. Not really looking forward to removing the box anyway. Thanks again.

Well, it's done. I ended up pulling the box and using a pitman arm puller. Man, what a PITA. Thank you everyone for your ideas.
