I am installing a new ring and pinion on a Dana 30 can someone tell me the torque specs on the saddles etc? Also will any gears from any year Dana 30 interchange? Also one rookie question what would my jeep do if I ran 3.53 gear in the front and 3.73 gear in the rear?

Bad things man, bad things. If you never left the ice/snow you'd be OK. But mis matched ratios will bind up and somethings gotta give.

I kind of figured it would put it in a pretty bad bind but can anyone help me on the other questions?

    www.precisiongear.com/pgtechrpm.htm

The '72-'06 are listed as 27 spline and using the same lockers, etc., but call Precision if you want to triple check. Their website has specs, tech calculators, etc.

As long as they are low pinion gears IIRC. High pinion are reverse rotation and will not work.
