Has anyone made there own rear floor for a 72-75 CJ5? I was thanking of making a 1x1 square tube frame to go under the floor for bracing and for the body mounts rear seat and belt attachments. Anyone got any suggestions?

my PO did. I'll try to get some pictures tomorrow. He used the same 1x1 tube and a steel plate floor. Not bad for a hack job, honestly.

I used 1'' angle for floor bracing and a section of 1"x2" U channel for the body mounts. Locate the mount locations and weld in some captive nuts before welding the channel to the floor. The floor is made from 16ga sheet. I know it's a little heavy but it dosn't need any beads or bracing to keep it form bending, sag, or rust for a long time.
