mufflers

    I have a cj2a with a ford 260 v-8 and headers,I was wondering if anyone has tried the flowtech afterburner mufflers or the dynomax super turbos. I'm looking for a good sound without being extremley loud. Thanks

    I have run the Dynomax super Turbos, love them. They let you know there is a V-8 under the hood without the loud obnoxious sound. Had a cat back system on my ole Camaro, currently have one on my Dodge Ram and two (dual exhaust) on my 66 Corvair.

    I've run the Flowtechs before. I hated the way they sounded. It was weird. I think my favorite muffler of all time is the Hooker Aerochamber. Fully welded aluminized steel outer, all stainless inners. Not obnoxiously loud, not whisper quiet, just right.

    I have the super turbos on my 360 and they sound good. Got a good little rumble to them but arnt super loud..
